TenDot Adds To Team

TenDot Adds Two Certified Meeting Professionals to Its Top-Notch Team

TenDot is excited to announce the addition of two highly experienced event experts to its team — which is dedicated to planning, executing, and streamlining the world’s best corporate meetings and reward travel programs.

Maggie Walton joins the TenDot team as Vice President – Partnerships, and Angela Gruver joins as Meetings Manager. Both Maggie and Angela hold the prestigious Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) designation, a globally recognized badge of excellence in the events industry.

They join TenDot’s strong staff focused on their partner clients’ distinctive needs and driving results that turn good events into memorable experiences.

Before joining TenDot in August 2021, both Maggie and Angela worked together as a dynamic duo comprising the in-house events team at Assurex Global, the world’s largest privately-held commercial insurance, risk management, and employee benefits brokerage group. At Assurex Global, Maggie and Angela successfully planned and executed more than 40 educational and networking events per year across the U.S. and the globe to serve the company’s more than 100 international partner firms.

“After working with both Maggie and Angela to enhance Assurex Global’s events for many years and seeing the strong industry connections and skillsets they both bring to the table, we knew they would be a perfect fit,” said TenDot President Derrick Eells.

Together, Maggie and Angela bring more than 25 years of combined event planning experience to TenDot. With their extensive professional backgrounds planning world-class events in various sizes and with varying circumstances and audiences, they each bring a breadth of industry know-how and attention to detail that embody TenDot’s core values.

They also bring working relationships with a network of high-quality hospitality organizations and venues that will allow TenDot to strengthen its capabilities and continue to go above and beyond while operating as a boutique incentive and meeting management firm.

“Take away her expertise in the field and high-level knowledge, and Maggie’s transparent approach and commitment to partnership make working together professionally rewarding and a joy,” said Daniel Lopes, Director of Global Sales for Associated Luxury Hotels International. “I’ve worked with Maggie for about a decade now and consider her a model professional.”
